Don't hate me (especially if you're considering hiring me) but it has to be said: I fucking hate LinkedIn.
Not the platform. The platform is actually great. It got me a gig that launched a career I'm genuinely proud of. I hate what people do to it.
You know exactly what I'm talking about. The posts that read like a motivational poster your mom bought at Hobby Lobby and hung between the rooster clock and the fruit bowl. The ones that sound profound until you actually think about them for half a second.
"If work was easy, they wouldn't call it work."
"If you strive to be your best, your best will strive to be you."
Sir. Ma'am. What does that mean. What does any of it mean.
It's this weird performance of wisdom, like if you arrange vague words confidently enough, people will assume you've figured something out. And the worst part? It works. The likes roll in. The "So true 🙏" comments pile up. An entire ecosystem of people nodding at nothing.
So naturally, I had to make a video about it.
When Nano Banana dropped, I wanted to put it through its paces with something that had a clear comedic target. Enter Kevin is so good at LinkedIn, a short that leans all the way into the bit. Kevin has cracked the code. Kevin is crushing it. Kevin's authenticity journey is really resonating with his network. Kevin is insufferable and Kevin does not know this.
Consider it a love letter to the platform and a restraining order against how we use it.
